Subject: Window Manager
This will be sticky.

We need a lightweight Window manager that is easy to use.

Here are some that I have found:

XFCE: a Lightweight desktop environment. I have found it a little
foreign to use.  Though it does have a lot of ubuntuers backing it up.

Icewm: A lightweight window manager. It is simple and very
configurable. You can make it look like a common operating system very
easily. However it does require some configuration to make it just
right.

Rox-session: I like the look of it and what it promisses to be. I have
loaded it on my system and it has been alright but not totally there.
Needs work.

Configuring Gnome or KDE: Don't know if it is worth it, but we could
configure Gnome for a lightweight distro. (look at beatrix
www.watsky.net and see what they have done with gnome 2.8).

Others: Blackbox, evolution, etc. If we want to play in the bear pit
feel free. http://xwinman.org/ is a good place to look at them all.

I suggest either Icewm or Rox-session. XFCE is to foreign
