Re a couple of the suggestions and the survey...

I would not use "Featherlight" of any variant thereof, as that was a
very well-known brand of Durex condom for many years. Doubtless the
best-known individual condom family in Britain. (Although in Britain,
"Durex" means condom and is a synonym, like "Hoover" or "Sellotape". I
believe in Australia it's just a brand of stationery, specifically,
sticky tape.)

Nothing wrong with "Wepesi" except I don't favour using foreign words
not known to many people. There's too much room for error. E.g. the
ill-fated "Cuill" search engine. They thought it meant "knowledge" in
Irish Gaelic. It doesn't, it means "corner" or "hazelnut", making them
look very silly.

And no option for renaming it just RULE?

Another thought:

According to a colleague of mine, it is the whole word "ubuntu" that
is the problem, and only in the name of the project. So calling it
something that uses just a part of the name is acceptable.

E.g., say, "Lightbuntu"

With a description of "the lightweight remix of Ubuntu for
low-specification PCs".

Or "Litebuntu" if people insist. :-)
