Good transits for dangerous situations
Hi All, I've finally begun working with multiple factors for transits to see what types of events occurred more often under certain transits in the data being used - (mostly timed and un-timed chart and event data from Astrodatabank). So far, I've looked at 120 categories of events with 8 aspects chosen... more »

Five databases
Hi All, Many of us often discuss what sort of things happen under various transits or how various natal factors manifested in people's lives, but usually we're working with a minimal amount of data, or if we ~can~ find lots of data in Astrodatabank etc, it's often difficult or impossible to process it within a reasonable amount of time to get... more »

Fw: JS2 problems
Hi,        Here is the decription of another annoying bug that I have been getting for a long time, in case anyone wants to try with their version. Please let me know what happens.               By the way, who are you supposed to contact in Oz for JS support ?             Over here its Roy Gillett who is always willing but some things need referring to the programmers.... more »

Pop singers and URA in Gauquelin Sector 1
Hi All, I just noticed while processing the Astrodatabank data for 608 Pop singers that they have always been far more inclined to have Uranus in Gauquelin Sector 1 than the average - around 50% more often than expected. For those who are unfamiliar with the Gauquelin Sectors, Sector 1 roughly equates with the 12th house.... more »

Mystical and Mystical experiences
Hi All, After mentioning the Pisces theme in Gauquelin scientists data where SUN or MOO or MER or VEN were prominent, I had a look at 56,000 data in 139 categories to see who else had it, and found that the Astrodatabank categories of "Mystical experience" came 1st and "Mystical came 3rd out of... more »

Mar-Sat aspects for 3646 scientists
Hi All, If we look at the 3646 Gauquelin data for the scientists who were born during the 124 year period of the dataset from 1794 to 1918 it is easy to see that people *consistently* gravitated towards becoming scientists at 25% above the average rate if they had MAR sqr SAT < 11.25 degs and consistently avoided becoming scientists if they had... more »

Moon in Pisces for scientists
Hi All, The Gauquelin data for the 3646 scientists who were born over a 124 year period from 1794 to 1918 shows that people were always more likely to become scientists if they had Moon in Pisces than in any other moon sign. Let's put it this way - if some alert astrologer had noticed the trend... more »

Mars Effect for TV personalities
Hi All, I don't know what to make of some of the Gauquelin observations after processing a lot more data recently, but for those who have any interest in the 'Mars Effect' (in its original sense as it related to the category of Sportsmen) there is something new to keep an eye on, and it doesn't require any searching for famous sportsmen or women or... more »

Mars in 10th house Placidus (re-print)
[Repeated a/c time-out of old post] ... ... ... ... ... ... ~>Go, Ray! Keep on opening our eyes. ~>Axel [UPDATE] Thanks for taking the time to reply, Axel. I asked a couple of others who visit this group why they haven't been writing anything, and it turned out that they all had broken fingers,... more »

Mars in 10th house Placidus - who has it most?
Hi All, The computer did this - I didn't. It found in my database of 37,000 timed charts from Astrodatabank and some of the Gauquelin data collection that an interest in Music featured overwhelmingly amongst the highest scores in the 100 categories (percentage wise). I suppose if there was no such thing as astrology, we'd have to start... more »
