Subject: Depression effecting relataionships and feelings
Please help, my husband, as been withdrawing from me the past 2
months, I have known there has been something, but you just carry on,
he kept saying nothing is wrong. until the other night after having
sex he told me, he didn't feel the same way about me. (sex was g8). He
bottles everything up and has been down for quite a while, with lots
of ups and downs in his emotions, we have a very stressful job dealing
with life and death, he has had 2 very close deaths in the past 4yrs,
his parents have had serve money problems, and a catalog of other
things. But he won't talk about any of it. His mum said he has always
been the same. Now he has said he doesn't love me any more and is very
hurtful (which is not like him) very negative towards us, doesn't know
if he wants to try for the family sake we have two children. He just
says he doesn't know what he wants he just doesn't love me any more
his feelings have changed. Can this happen with depression? has this
happened to any1 else?

Yes, this happens all the time! I don't know if there is a solution but
he needs to get help for his depression. The best place I found for
support for you is http://depressionfalloutmessageboard.yuku.com .

Good luck.

That happens all the time. It has happened to me. I found that medications
allowed me to overcome my depressions and clear my thinking. If you are
interested in particulars of my story email me off list.
