Yes, I have.
"Subsisting on the bounty of the enemy" was one of the announced goals
of the campaign. It made sense - the resources of Virginia and North
Carolina were stretched, whereas Pennsylvania had seen little damage
from the war.
The other part isn't quite correct. Specifically, if the 13 colonies lost their bid for independence, they
would
have remained part of Great Britain. But for how long?
When Great Britain liberated Canada (was it in the 1860's?),
would the American colonies also have been given their liberty at that
time?
-Rusty (Yardian)

 Muhammad Zia-al-Haq? Nawaz Sharif?
But I agree that for Deobandism to be the
main form of Sunni extremism in a TL without
the Wahhabi-Saudi alliance, you'd need a
wealthier and more stable Pakistan. And I
suspect in a wealthier and more stable
Pakistan the circumstances that led to
"Islamization" are going to be quite different.

That didn't seem to stop the San Francisco Vigilance
Committee and countless acts of frontier violence -
although one could argue that standards in the West
regarding whites killing other whites were different
than those in the East (excepting the blood-soaked
honor-obsessed Carolinas and Georgia).

No, you wanted an example of what would happen if Meade actually
pursued Lee and I gave you the result, Stuart is turned loose. Have
you ever heard the song that Stuart wrote some of the lyrics for?
If anything JEB Stuart had a fixation on that ride around McClellan
and tried to duplicate any chance he got.

Under these circumstances, are the British likely to propose a
separate peace with the Americans? All the Americans are likely to ask
for is the British Continental Posessions and might not even *want*
Rupert's Land, PEI or Newfoundland. Despite what you believe, there was a pursuit following Gettysburg.
There was a fair amount of fighting involving both cavalry and infantry.
Most of the Confederate cavalry was quite busy, either covering the
ANV's wagon train (Imboden's Train) or the flanks of the ANV infantry.
It didn't have an opportunity to do much more.
