It is indeed interesting that the Lao PDR Ambassador to the U.N. Yong
Chanthalangsy, who is a chronic liar himself, would call his critics
by the same name.

"it is the same liars such as Philip Smith, Vannida Thepsouvanh and
their henchmen who dream of conducting sabotages to torpedoe our SEA
Game but they failed and spead this intoxication."

I guess it takes one to know one?

Yong might as well call the Radio Free Asia's Lao service reporters,
director directors and producers,  Viengsay Luangkhot, Susan Lavery,
Sarah Jackson-Han, LIARS as well, for their story below:

http://www.rfa.org/english/news/laos/detain-11032009192837.html

It's easy to name call folks like Philip Smith and Vannida Thepsouvanh
as liars, BUT why can't Yong apply the same name callings to Radio
Free Asia, or the U.S. government who funds RFA, and who in ways are
represented by U.S. Ambassador Ravic Huso in Vientiane?

Samphong,

Can you imagine Mr. Yong is sitting on a chair under the sun sweating
and wiping of his forehead with his long sleeves when someone is
encountering him for what he failed to accept from RFA?

Prove of liars....

Liar #1: "the picture" Tuk-tuks drive towards the Patuxay tower in the
center of Vientiane, March 17, 2006.....

"Tuk-tuk are parking peacefully no sign of demostration"

Liar #2: "BANGKOK—Lao authorities" are detaining nine people said to
have been travelling by road to the Lao capital to stage a pro-
democracy protest, according to Lao sources who asked not to be
named...

"Bangkok is Thailand not Lao"

Liar #3:"Original reporting by RFA’s" Lao service. Lao service
director: Viengsay Luangkhot. Executive producer: Susan Lavery.
Produced in English by Sarah Jackson-Han.

I see Phet Yai defending Yong and DKJ as usual...from the luxury of
true democracy and freedom of the press.

The point of the photo is obvious..to show that the TRUTH that Hammer
and Sickle is well and alive that the one-party authoritariaum
Bolvshevik Revoltion that is the Lao PDR will dictate all aspects of
Lao society. No?

Phet Yai, the RFA team seems have been stationed in Bangkok and filed
their story from there. Duh! For someone living in the U.S. you still
act like you just crawled out of the Vieng Xai caves.

The next time Yong writes his propaganda post, he should put GENEVA in
front of his message. According to you, Geneva is Switzerland not Lao.

Just as the entire Lao Constitution and their whole system of the
Hammer and Sickle ideology is a total fabrication...since they don't
even abide by it, but in fact, go against every principle of that
ideology!

Well, is it true that Hammer and Sickle still fly just like the photo
in the RFA article?

Is it also true that since the RFA article, you have been directly
working hand in hand with Yong, DKJ, Lao Spokesman Khenthong to refute
this story, without providing evidence anything to the
contrary...other than calling people liars?

Is it also true that you are actively supporting the following kind of
"freedom of the press", which is currently in effect? (It's on the Lao
People's Revolutionary Party propaganda, KPL website right now!)

"The mass media at all times are involved in the Party strategy and
tactics...The Lao Journalists' Association also took steps in urging
journalists to serve the country and people, being Party and
Government announcers, disseminating policies and motivating the
people to implement two strategic tasks: development and the country's
security and protection."

> how come CNN, Bangkok post and others news agency that camp

Perhaps because, "The mass media at all times are involved in the
Party strategy and tactics...The Lao Journalists' Association also
took steps in urging journalists to serve the country and people,
being Party and Government announcers, disseminating policies and
motivating the people to implement two strategic tasks: development
and the country's security and protection."

You never know, the Lao PDR government could have easily conditioned
that whoever reports negatively or on certain subjects will be
expelled from the country?

One way or another, the truth of what happened will eventually be
revealed.

Friends,

Mr.Yong will deny every source of information which will embarrass Lao
PDR and paint its instability government images. Not only RFA news
sources, but credible independent media such as Amnesty international
is denied still.

These are his all time words: fabrication, ill-people, bad elements
and now liars.

Not only will embarrass Laos if he did not deny.  UN can do a lot more
to Laos because LPDR
were just signing the ratification of the International Convention on
Civil and Political Rights ( ICCPR ) which
guarantees to the Lao people the freedom of belief, freedom of
association, freedom of expression and freedom of the press, as well
as the rights to protest and political rights.

LPDR Government don't lie,  LPDR only deny.  Every one not saying the
same thing as LPDR is a Liar.
so, we all are a liar because the LPDR government is denying about the
arrested.

But the truth is always hurt!

Sabaidee Chicky,

I believe there are people ready to protest and maybe they even got

The chances of Muang Lao getting to host the SEA Game is small but Lao
got that opportunity to host this game.  During this game, politics
should be put aside and all sides should come together and make this
event a success.
