Rapprochement & Reconciliation between the Laonork and Laonai are the way to go. The first step is to have engagement and building a bridge... to develop trust. If South Africa can have reconciliation, Laos should be able to have it as well.
Remember that each year there are some 20,000 US Hmong visiting Laos - over the last 5 years there are already 100,000 US Hmong become phim song hua???
Let's be realistic. Known who we are. Have a conviction Be who we are Have some gut Do what we believe in. Do it right. Do it real. Do it openly... with good cetana.
