Hmong Sport Festival is coming up, the place is crawling with Security Guards and St. Paul police. Last year, I was there when a bit of a fight broke out.
Some say it's the worst who get involved in gangs. Some bring it with them from Laos they say. When they say some say it's the worst that get involved in gangs, I mean often it looks like the people on the fringe do it, those who are not as popular and the like.
The cops on the scene at como then photographed some gang members there at the festival holding up signs with their crime number. Metal detectors are at the gates so hopefully no one gets in with a gun or knife, there are so many people there. If anything real bad ever happened, as happens in other cases, they'd have to stop the festival.

Kids shouldn't have guns, a lot of these cases, at least 60% maybe up to 75 or 80%, seems the people who are involved are 25 years or younger. They don't have responsibility. Must be the same problem with African Americans too.

Yes, metal detector is at the gates. It is very easy to pass a gun to those whose choose too but it is not worth it. There is detective, secret agents on site. A person can shoot but he/she can ot gets away. Please respect the events as the biggest events for the Hmong Community in the world. I am sure, there will always be fighting but, it will be in minimal. a person's chance of getting kill, hurt, injure is less than being in LPDR. No police will ask for your bribe or your dollars, pay $4 at the gates and you are free to roam, not like in LPDR where you pay at fee at the gate, pay a fee as tip for the LPDR Guard, and your chance of getting arest for something stupied is still big.

Actually though, if one reads the story, I think the circle now, is the circle of revenge. These last two incidences look like retaliations. So it's leading to more and more when you see, some of these guys getting killed were involved in shooting other people or something like that. The guy killed outside the bar was which happened about 2 months ago.
