Hey All,
We have started an Aussie Startup Index on technation:
http://www.technation.com.au/aussie-startup-index/
It's based on similar indices in Seattle & Canada:
- http://www.techvibes.com/blog/category/start-up-index/
The index goes through the companies listed here: http://www.startup-australia.org/startups
and ranks them by the average of the Alexa & Compete rankings.
This metric is far from perfect since, especially since traffic does
not always equal success.
I just wanted to put it out to this group to see if anyone has
suggestions for how to improve the index. (Obviously things that can
be scripted are preferable)
Cheers
