Kain,

If you're keen for a sunny ride down one of the most visually stunning comm=
uter corridors in Australia, you're welcome to come and hang with us in bea=
utiful Wollongong. We've got a bunch of spare desks, ADSL2, and a kick ass =
collection of tunes to enjoy.

We won't even make you buy coffee, and your laptop will be safe if you head=
 to the loo.

Else, I'll have a word with a mate of mine who just got some office space i=
n Kent St set up. He's still getting desks installed, and I'm not sure abou=
t his spare capacity levels (I just checked it out for the first time today=
).

Geoff

Does anyone have a desk that a colleague and I might share to work on
a project for a day next week? Mick's Sydney-co-working space is still
a couple of months away and I need a low cost option to operate from
once a week. Better yet, does anyone have a desk to rent out?

[Lesson Learnt] On my first day out i thought i'd set myself up in a
coffee shop with wi-fi and work from there. In theory it should have
been simple, purchase a few coffee's and i'd have an office for the
day. Instead, I froze my ass off. Plus i drank so much coffee that i
needed to go to the loo every 20 minutes... but what do you do with
your laptop whilst your gone, i'd be madness to take it with you. So i
downloaded a motion sensor alarm for my laptop and when i tested it,
it wouldn't turn off until i yanked the battery out of the bottom.
Needless to say my first day out was a failure.

If anyone knows of space that's up for sharing in Sydney please drop
me a line.

Cheers

Kain
