ict services 2020 panel. This is more innovative than it sounds as it
allows for software to purchsed in the form of services such as open

Disadvantages - you might not get everything you want/need in 1
auction, there's time involved in collecting furniture or office
equipment (although there are removal companies that will pick up for
you), sometimes the descriptions are a bit inadequate so ask questions

There's been a few references on the list to "Lean Startups", a concept promoted by Eric Ries, which he in turn credits in large part to Steve Blank, a serial entrepreneur and author of "The Four Steps to the Epiphany".

Draconian I agree. Three years not in the same "industry" is
ambiguous. I'd say it would need to be very specific for that

which restrict trade or occupation wont hold in court... but how does that
apply to "industry"... as software people, they might simply scope it to be

I had one of these with my previous employer and I'd been told that
it's largely all bluff.

The ACCC looks very dimly on restraint of trade.

Your bigger issue is IP (reasonable for them to say that you can't
take code etc. and use it at a new company), but personally I doubt
anyone can prevent you from working for a competitor.

Is there a geographic restriction in the non-compete you're looking at?

I've heard that these are often (particularly in AU) these sorts of clauses are very geographically sensitive when it comes to enforcement; kinda not up to date with the way the (borderless) digital world works. So, if the non-compete says you can't work in the same industry in the same city for a period of 6 months after leaving one employer, then you're probably going to be free to work in a different city. What I've heard is that courts are very loath to restrict someone's right to earn a living beyond the traditional thought of a "market" being in a given city.

Have had very few issues, of those none were caused by the VOIP provider
(all me/LAN/ISP issues)

Setup is

1. Basic account approx $30 with two numbers you can choose from a list

MyTel has an excellent product with brilliant service.
However, you need to bare in mind that this require pretty high quality bandwidth from your ISP.
An ADSL (Even ADSL 2+) will appear to be working well on the first call but will rapidly deteriorate once you run more than that. Not to mention the fact you'll be out of phone lines when ISP/power goes down...

Cost Effective, can move between offices without all the hassle as your
company grows and can have extensions at home etc etc

Also has all the professional features ("Press 1 for sales", voicemails,
hunt service etc etc)
