I am a new member from Perth, WA. I am 38 years old. I have had a
hearing loss all my life and wear heairng aids in both ears. I
struggle with my hearing loss and haven't accepted. Socially etc. Any

National relay service TTY

Hi I have contacted telstra about this but I am wondering if anyone knows what the call cost to 13 numbers is ie the national relay service?? They say all 13 numbers are 30 cents but someone else I spoke with in telstra said 13 numbers are local call 1300 numbers are higher rate. I did specifically ask for the cost of 13 and 1300 numbers. This is because I am looking at going to TTY and calls made thru relay service are 13 numbers even if they are an STD number.

YouTube introduces automatic captions for deaf viewers

YouTube's parent company Google has announced on its blog that
automatic captions are to begin to roll out across the site.

The machine-generated captions will initially be generated in English.
At first they will only be found on 13 channels.

These include National Geographic, Columbia, as well as most Google

is organising the Access All Areas Film Festival.
