Subject: Documentary for SBS - exciting opportunity
Hi all,

A friend of mine is producing a TV show for SBS. He is looking for a
deaf person to participate in the Sydney - Hobart yacht race this
year.

Please see email below for further information.

This is a very exciting opportunity and time is running out, so let me
know if you’re interested and I will introduce you to Nick via email.

And feel free to pass this on to any deaf people you may know in
particular to anyone who might be interested in some sailing
adventure!

Thanks,

Olivia

Subject: Hi Olivia

Hey Olivia,

I am working on a series of doco's for SBS on a disabled sailing crew
that will be racing in the sydney to hobart yacht race  this year.
There are a still a few spots on the boat and a few people still
trying out to get into the crew.  They don't necessarily need to know
how to sail but will need a fairly serious sense of adventure.

The first and second episode of the series concerns the selection of
the crew and I thought you may know some people who may be interested
in trying out to get a spot on the boat. We don't have any deaf people
on the crew yet and i would like to find a deaf person for the crew in
order to cover as wide a variety of disabilities as possible in the
show.  We are however open to any type of disability.

Even if that person did not make it into the final crew they would
probably have a good time trying with the harbor races and short ocean
races that we will use to help select the crew.

Feel free to pass this email on to any anyone or association you think
may have connections to disabled people they may be interested in
being in the show.

They would need to get on this very fast as time is running out and I
hope to get a few of them out on the boat as early as this week .

Cosmic Kisses Nick
