The Rostrum Personal Development Program is a beginners course in public speaking. All new members are given a guidebook to the Program, and are encouraged to complete it's twelve speaking excercises at their own pace.

On completion, members may choose to complete the Intermediate Development Program, and then the Advanced Development Program.

If a member has developed a good grasp of public speaking, they may choose to undergo Critics' training and later Tutor and Training Officer training. This training is designed to help members teach others how to speak better, though the skills learnt can also be applied to other types of textual analysis and teaching.

Additionally, members may choose to nominate for an office bearing position within the club (such as Secretary or President). Successful nominees who haven't taken those roles before will learn a lot about doing these jobs.

Or, if a member prefers, they can just turn up each week, listen, eat, and go home. It's up to you.
