The Jo Davis Cup is Rostrum Victoria's main annual speaking competition. It was founded in 1956, and is open to all members of Victorian Rostrum clubs. Entrants must present a ten minute prepared speech, on a topic published near the start of the year.

Mildura members first compete in a Northern Victoria heat, usually held in July. The winner of this heat competes in the final in Melbourne. This is held in August.

A member from our club last won in 2000.
