  Hi Andrew, &lt;br&gt; here a simple setup for a nested structure containing a query (among &lt;br&gt; others): &lt;br&gt; instance is the core CFC I&#39;m testing for in this test CFC and has been &lt;br&gt; created in &lt;br&gt; the setup.   Thanks Kai. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;That at least gives me a starting point. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;When I think about it what I really wanted to test for is that I &lt;br&gt; haven&#39;t unwittingly injected any SQL errors. I guess at least testing &lt;br&gt; the methods don&#39;t thrown an exception is a good starting point, and I &lt;br&gt; could go from there. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Thanks again!

  Hi Andrew, &lt;br&gt; there&#39;s hardly any right or wrong when it comes to what you&#39;d test. &lt;br&gt; The most &lt;br&gt; basic test is obviously that the method actually really returns a &lt;br&gt; query.
