I don't think a photo of peoples butts on bar stools would entice me to try
a soda. Wouldn't it have been better to take a photo of people enjoying the
soda or some subject related to soda or the consumption of soda?

Hi all- I am enjoying my new Digital Rebel! How I missed my old 35mm
and the feel that goes with it.

When I was a younger man. (No not that many years ago) I made myself one
from a toilet roll, glue, black paint and a make up mirror. It was very good
and simple to do. I finished mine off with a close up lens attached to the
front so that it looked like a normal lens. It was great for taking real
candid photos.

It doesn't have to do so much with the shutter speed or film speed or
the type of lens that you use. The orange effect is coming from the
type of lighting in the environment. I think that incandescent bulbs

Last time I saw a lens like that for a 35mm camera was 20 years ago.
You're right, my quick Google search says seems to indicate that they
would be hard to come by... but there's at least one lens sold for
video cameras (promoted as a spy tool on some sites).

Does anyone know where I can get a 52mm right-angle adapter? The type that
looks like a lense but will allow you to shoot a picture in one direction
while it looks like you are pointing your lense in another. I've been
watching eBay and searching the web but no luck. Is there another name for
it?

Smitty, how you going mate. I just looked at your website and you have
some terriffic images there. How's the Canon going? I've just bought a
Pentax 645N for my landscape work, not sure to do with my Maxxum system
as yet, I've bneen thinking I can use my D7 (soon to become an A1)for
anything the MF is not suitable for. Are you not using film at all now
