Yes.  It works with the SX10 IS in the following modes: E TTL, Manual
(Full, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32, 1/64)

My PZ40X C2 uses all the automatic features on my SX10 IS including
focus flash for the zoom setting.  Make sure you have the Canon model.  
They also have Nikon and Sony compatible models.
