i have a c-4040zoom and I tried to buy the cd, but it actually gave me
a link to get it for free:

What's the point you're trying to make? That you were nicely
surprised that you can get the software for free, or complaining
that you can't buy a readymade CD? They're also offering the CD
for $9.99 with free shipping.
