Wow. They must have got lucky with the weather as it had to be
scheduled. I shot the full moon 2 nights ago with decent results but
it's never anywhere near as good as the optics should allow.. the
following night of the actually full moon the conditions were horrible &
it looked like a coke bottle lens was used.

Does anyone know if this is a decent setup:

1400mm still doesn't get a frame filling image but I'll bet it's a lot
better than the 1400mm camera lens setup I have fiddled with.
