Free Screen Savers!! (Mainly Japan Photos)

Hi,
I've just created a bunch of screen savers of some of my photos, most
taken with a Canon EOS 10D. The screen savers will auto-update from my
site when changes are made (this feature can be turned off).
Currently there's a generic screen saver with a few photos from all
categories. There are also "Sunrises and Sunsets", "Flowers of Japan",

Kodak HD4

I just picked up a sample roll (12 x) of Kodak's HD4 film in ASA 400.
What can I expect of this? Looks like it might be interesting..
Anybody have any experience with it??

300mm / 2.8 lens recommendation

I'm thinking about getting a 300mm/f2.8 for my Maxxum 5. Also
planning to get the Digital 7 when it gets here. Obviously, I'd like
to go with a genuine Minolta, but if that's not possible for financial
reasons, who's next on the photo food-chain. Tamron, Sigma, or
Tokina? Anyone else make AF lenses? Thanks.

Did they give a reason? Could some "expert" have seen that it was
black and white but was too dumb to see process C-41 on the film
can?

Minolta Maxxum 4 <-> X700 lenses

I have some old lenses for my dead X700.
Noticed Costco is selling a Minolta Maxxum 4 for $200.
Would my lenses work on that camera body?
Could the camera do aperture priority or shutter speed priority with those lenses?

Well I just discovered that Kodak does not make the Royal Gold anymore.
I have emailed them about their high def film but wondered if anyone
has used it or has other suggestions?
I want to try several rolls of whatever film I use before next year
so I am not experimenting on the trip.

I talked to kodak tody. Kodachrome is no longer available in Oz !Lack
of sales is to blame, thanks to pros switching to digital. Magazines
used to use heaps of kodachrome before digital.
Completely discontinued. Lookout other countries!

K25 is discon (but can still be processed).
K64 and K200 are still being sold by Kodak

Processing centers have shut down and only a couple are left in
North America. eg: Toronto used to have a center, that work is
now shipped to New Jersey (I'm told).
No idea about Oz or Asia.

Kodak is still selling Kodachrome film around the world, though not
actively marketing it. You might have to look in specialty camera stores
to find it, or purchase by mail order.
If Kodak chooses to discontinue it, which they have not said they are
intending to do, so this is only hypothetical, they typically support

Hi, I'm in Australia and have noticed that I can no longer find
kodachrome. I have some rolls left (35mm) and I was wondering if
anyone knows if this stuff is still being processed by kodak and how
long for?
