With the liberals in power we are far more concerned with our world
image than we are in helping the Afghans set up a democracy from scratch.

Hitler used your plan and the world shuddered.  Clinton used it in
Serbia but our press kept the ugly details from the American people.
The rest of the world knows though.  The liberals claim the world
despised us because of Iraq but it started when we committed the war
crimes in Serbia.

Thousands vent anger at Clinton's Greek visit Athens

     * Helena Smith in Athens
     * The Guardian, Saturday 20 November 1999 01.38 GMT

President Bill Clinton flew into Greece last night to face the fury of
tens of thousands of demonstrators in what is proving to be his most
controversial visit yet to a Nato member state. Protesters fought
running street battles with riot police as banks and shops in the heart
of Athens were set on fire.

Hostility, tinged with official embarrassment, greeted Mr Clinton from
the moment Air Force One touched down from Istanbul where the US leader
had been attending the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in
Europe summit.

As the president's motorcade swept past posters likening him to Adolf
Hitler, anti-American slogans were shouted and teargas canisters were
fired to disperse Greece's burgeoning cast of self-proclaimed anarchists.
Officials said 7,000 police officers had been seconded to throw up a
"wall of protection" around the leader whose visit, originally scheduled
to last three days, was shortened to a 24-hour stopover.

Mr Clinton arrived at his hotel to see a banner denouncing him as a
"fascist murderer" for the bombing campaign against Yugoslavia.

"He is a symbol of everything that is rotten with America," said
Thanassis Pafilis..

Or like a presentation of the Dog Whisperer. Most of that list were not
allowed at the one we attended in 2006 in OK City.

I'll also bet that you've never attended a presentation by a person who
has had threats on their lives either. That there are metal detectors at
the presentation doesn't surprise me. There have been metal detectors at
a number of places we've visited in the last few years.

I went to a concert this summer (Sugarland - great show, but could have been
longer than 90 minutes), and while I was surprised that they had no problem
with cameras, phones, and recording devices, none of the other things on
that list would have been permitted.  My surprise at the acceptance of
cameras and recording devices probably comes from years and years in Vegas,
where none of those things are allowed into most concerts.  In fact, the use
of cameras is routinely banned in casinos, and many areas of casinos also
ban the possession of cell phones.

I was told recently by a liberal that it is unsafe to keep ammo in my
house....  If the house catches fire, I'm endangering the lives of
firemen by keeping ammo in the house.  I'm caught on the horns of a
dilemma.  Do I put up a sign telling the firemen to act fast before the
ammo starts exploding or to wait for the ammo to explode before
beginning operations?

What do the former firefighters say?

I'm not a past, present, or future firefighter, but from 2004:
-------------------------------------------------
So I tried it - coffee can, Coleman stove, .22 LR. Three times.
1. Cartridge was laying at the side of the can, tangent. Heat. Pow.
Neither the case nor the bullet left the can, but the case dented it.

2. and 3. Cartridge was in the center of the can. Heat. Pow. Case
punched a hole in the can and vanished, and bullet stayed in the can.
Found a very small dent in the can from the bullet with (3), but nothing
with (2).
---------------------------------------------------

And some time in the past, Neon John said this:

Just send all your ammo to me and you can stop worrying about it.

I recall your "extensive" test since it did not match an experience I
had at an early age where the bullet punctured the can and went whizzing
into space.

I also recall some F-84s set on fire from bullets exploding in the wings
of B-26s parked across the ramp.  (API ammo)
Kunsan AB, Korea, Dec 1952.

The FBI kept fire trucks from even venturing near the burned remains of
the Davidian's building because of the possibility of "cook off" rounds
from the
Davidian's ammo stockpile.  Of course they never tried your experiment
before making this decision.

I suggest you repeat your experiment with stacked boxes of .308, 9MM,
22LR (in cartons) and stacked boxes of shotgun shells.
1500 rounds total would be a good starting point.  More would be better.
At least 5 experiments with witnesses present.

Ammo is heavy and shipping is expensive.  Considering what they charge
at the local flea market for ammo, I could unload it there at
considerable profit.

But I'll keep you in mind; thanks for offering.
