Entertainment Tonight HD Weekend Edition
You still might get a chance to catch this weekend's edition, featuring interviews with Ringo and Paul. The High-Definition looks spectacular, although the songs sound slower in tempo by just a tad.

I Wanna Hold You Hand
Oddly, until last night, I'd never seen this movie (I Wanna Hold Your Hand - <[link]>) although I'd heard a fair bit about it. IMHO enjoyable, not a lot more. Funny in parts, unfunny in others. Two things struck me about it though... 1) This 1978 (released 1985) movie used real and actual Beatles... more »

PBS TV, USA nationwide: "How the Beatles Rocked the Kremlin", airs Nov 9th!
I watched this documentary and was floored - i had no idea that the Beatles had such an underground following and such an impact on a generation "officially" not supposed to be aware they existed. I specially enjoyed the anti-Beatles film that the state produced, and the mood of the people when Paul actual had his concert(s) there- it was as if Zeus had come down from... more »

Abbey Road - a tribute recording...
The October edition of the UK Mojo magazine has (had?) an Abbey Road cover CD. Basically a group of current artists covered the tracks, and the album is presented in "original" order. It's a really nice selection of covers - every single one worth listening to. The Invisible - Come Together Leisure Society - Something... more »

"The Beatles From 1970 Until 1981" PROJECT
Dear Friends, We created a 'possible' discography for THE BEATLES from 1970 until 1981, including hits from their solo carears. It resulted in 12 'new' albuns (and of course, a double one: The Black Album). The corresponding artwork for each album was also created, as if they had been released by the Fab Four, 1 album per year.... more »

At the VERY beginning of "It's All Too Much"(1969-Yellow Submarine)...
...Somebody says something and is cut off by the sharp G guitar riff. Who was it and what were they saying? John Lennon or George? Just curious. -ChrisCoaster "A good coaster ride is where your bum didn't touch the seat the whole time"
