     Something's wrong with the high score list. I keep getting "maybe
there's an old lock lying around?" after 60 retries to write. I didn't
ascend or anything special, but I was concerned after I died and got
the error.

We don't use the record file anymore (not since 2000 or so), so it's
probably not an issue.  I'd still like to clean it up, though; what
server was that on?
