More ‘Work’ for the President The Obama administration takes aim at climate scientists.
By Patrick J. Michaels
In the blame game, the Obama administration isn’t about to stop with Fox News. Instead, it’s moving on to lowly scientists.
Last month, President Obama gave a somewhat chilling, if somewhat ignored, speech on climate change at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He stated that any scientific debate about the magnitude of global warming is unscrupulous, decrying “those who . . . make cynical claims that contradict the overwhelming scientific evidence when it comes to climate change, whose only purpose is to defeat or delay the change that we know is necessary.”
Then, the president talked tough, saying, “We’ll just have to deal with those people,” language familiar to anyone who knows the vagaries of Chicago politics. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
I spose it's just The Chicago Way. You can take the politician out of Chicago, but you can't the Chicago out of the politician.
Now, for more lighthearted news. It has been reported that in the first 9 months of Obama's Presidency, he has now played more rounds of golf than Bush did in the first 3 years of his Presidency.
Suppressing dissent and using thug tactics to keep your own party off a news networks shows is nothing to discuss? Take you fingers out of your ears and stop with the 'LALALALA I CANT HEAR YOU" and start to realize what kind of Chicago asshole politician you put in the Whitehouse.

It is as much a news network as CNN and more so than MSNBC. Fox's news shows are as good as anyones. Their commentary shows are just that, commentary, just like olbermann and maddow. But you lefties just can't see it.

Overstock. Except for the addicts, they can't give the stuff away any more.
These are exactly the same tactics used by the Bush Administration, and they're still pathetic. Also, anyone who's been silent on the issue for 8 years but is suddenly outraged is a first-class hypocrite.

Confused? All the words are being used in their "normal" sense.

> How does this make any sense?
What about the Obama Whitehouse handling of this issue has made any sense? How does it make any sense to go after a cable news network in the first place? The Obama Whitehouse gang is the biggest bunch of bumbling buffoons to ever inhabit the building.

What I am saying is, if this individual is afraid of running afoul of the White House, why would he be talking to the media about the supposed incident, anonymously or otherwise. Won't the White House know exactly who this person is based on the facts disclosed?
Why would this attempt by Obama to suppress dissent and censor free speech surprise any one? It is just the same dirty Chicago style politics used by the crooked political machine that created him. Although it is a little amazing when you consider we have 10.2% unemployment, the biggest deficits in our history, two wars, a muslim terrorist attack on American soil that killed 13 and wounded 38 that Obama's main concern is trying to muzzle a news network for daring to question his policies. Now we'll pause for the usual "but Bush, but Bush, but Bush" posts from the Obama kool aid bucket crowd.

They have probably already threatened so many people that they can't be sure exactly which one of their targets ratted them out.

Using logic. Fox is a biased network. They lie and slant the news. It's proven:
It's why Vice President Cheney would only go on FOX. It's why any logical person wouldn't try making a point on a network that will simply cut off your mike when you did.
