I enjoy this series, currently showing here in NZ. There may be a sequel,
Foyle's Peace.
Honeysuckle Weeks is such a cool name. And her married name is even cooler.

Yeah.  I like this series too.  She and Michael Kitchen, and also
Anthony Howell.  Very nice series.

Great news! My library has the series and I watched it on DVD. More would be
wonderful.

"Jolly hockeysticks"! I haven't heard someone use that expression since my
British boarding school days, which ended in 1968! <G>

You know, that's actually on topic.  Foyle's Peace won't be the same
though.  How can they have all those scenes where they tell him to let
the murderer go because there's a war on?

Probably there will be issues around the Red Menace and repatriation of
various refugees and captives.

Wonderful that Foyle will return.. yay.

We recently watched the Insp Lynley episode "Know Thine Enemy"(on PBS
Mystery!). Honeysuckle plays a Karla Homolka type character. It was
obviously based on that chilling Canadian real crime case.Talk about
shatteriing typecasting!

Anyone else catch this? I thought it the best ever episode of that series..
Excellent, though quite disturbing..

Annie
