Greetings once again and welcome to another edition of "HIPcomix
Happenings", a weekly newsletter dedicated to the latest news and
notes from everyone's favorite adult-themed comic website...

This week we want to take a moment to spotlight an artist who has only
been with HIPcomix.com for about a year and a half, and in that short
span of time has managed to create not one but TWO fantastic fictional
universes for his characters to inhabit. The man goes by the nickname
"Morpheus", and since no one knows about his work better than he does,
we'll let him tell you a little bit about it in this own words:
"Although I am currently working on two strips for HIP, there is no
direct connection between them and no intentionally shared universe
which both characters inhabit.
'Saffyre Blue' is of course set in the future and 'Perihelion' in the
present day so maybe Saffyre inhabits the world which Peri’s will
become?
Anyone with a knowledge of films such as 'Barbarella' and 'Galaxina'
will recognise the influences they have on 'Saffyre Blue', but at the
same time she owes as much to the work of Serpieri, Azprizi and a
plethora of (much-more talented-than-I-am) creators. 'Perihelion', on
the other hand, is my version of the classic Marvel Silver Age where
heroines were voluptuous and feisty – my favourites were The Wasp as
drawn by Big John Buscema and the ever-lovely Scarlet Witch with Ms.
Marvel tagging along in the inside lane."
It just so happens that Morpheus has a fresh update of his famous
