I just scored a new Spike & Mike DVD called Cutting Edge Classics on
Amazon with 4 Maakies shorts I'd seen on SNL. There's some other
really great stuff on this DVD too. Not as sick and twisted as their
"Sick & Twisted" DVDs but still outrageously good. "An Old Story" is

1996. This came out in Australia when I was first getting into comics.
Well, the author has decided to plug em all into shockwave format and

Discovered Jason Lutes, what next?

a few days ago I discovered _Jar of Fools_ by Jason Lutes (I was lured
in by the Sherman Alexie introduction). Wow... this really blew me
away. I have already ordered Berlin: City of Stones and will look for
other work of Lutes'

the only two volumes available that I know of. (In Spanish, there are 10.)
For those unfamiliar with it, it's already been translated into 30 languages,
which is more than "Calvin & Hobbes"! Sort of a political "Peanuts" by
