Hello Anna,

Your response makes me curious. When do you consider a map to be
'ridiculously large'?

I am interested because, like Fearless, I use Rationale and other
mapping tools mainly to prepare document structures. My maps easily
get large. I have had several software tools slow down or simply
give up when dealing with them.
Another application where this happens is in note-taking: a two hour
meeting generates about 500 nodes. Is that large?

And to Fearless S.: How large (in numbers) are your students' maps?

Sincerely,

Malik de Kok

Thanks for your message. About the performance problems, we are
aware<br>
that with ridiculously large maps it can slow down, and have tried
to<br>
improve performance as best we can. It's still on our developers'<br>
list, and they will look into it again the first chance they

It is possible that you're running an older version which doesn't<br>
include all the performance improvements we have recently made. If<br>
this is the case, you might want to consider upgrading to Rationale
