Hello Anna,
Your response makes me curious. When do you consider a map to be I am interested because, like Fearless, I use Rationale and other And to Fearless S.: How large (in numbers) are your students' maps?

'ridiculously large'?
mapping tools mainly to prepare document structures. My maps easily
get large. I have had several software tools slow down or simply
give up when dealing with them.
Another application where this happens is in note-taking: a two hour
meeting generates about 500 nodes. Is that large?
