Subject: xlutils and python2.4
Hi all,

Is it possible to use xlutils with python2.4 (workaround etc.) ?
AFAIK xlutils requires functools which is introduced in python2.5.

Any pointer would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

While you're waiting for Chris to arc up:

(1) look at 2.5 and 2.6 functools to see if you can retrofit it easily
to 2.4

(2) see if the "Roughly equivalent to" pure-Python code given in the
functools.partial docs will do the job ... at all? fast enough?

Cheers,
John

I'd suggest giving xlutils 1.3.2 a go then, until you can upgrade to a
more recent version of python.

cheers,

Chris
