Google unfortunately has a knack of presenting prospective Python users who need to work with Excel files with information that is now really rather out of date.
To try and help with this, I've setup a small website at:
Better :) Would be more functionally balanced if Lingfo 'logo' was also linked (tho I see it's just text).
Also FYI with IE 7.0 (on XPPro) part of the "Google Groups" iframe box doesn't display for me - the "View Group" is cut off. Am not sure why...? (My FireFox displays it correctly.)

Indeed, beat John until he comes up with a snazzy logo graphic ;-)

IE 7 is probably broken ;-) That or the Google Sites thing I used to knock the site together. Unfortunately, as a result, I don't have any control over than so there's nothing I can do to fix it :-(

Site's good Chris -- one of the things I'm doing apart ifrom tidying
up code for my python excel wrapper is also trying to get a site up
and running for use of it. So I'd be happy to share some content in
regards to "Quick Start" [examples, etc..] for xlrd & xlwrt, so the
page has a bit more flesh, as it were.

What do we need to do to get it to show up there? Get lots of people to link to it I guess...
Well, you all know what to do ;-)

I have a whole tutorial I need to turn into online docs, if only there were more hours in the day...
Thanks, but they're a bit "square", the Google Sites templates work best with logos that are more rectangular with width significantly greater than height...
