Subject: OpenAustralia Hackfest - MashupAustralia Edition Agenda/Speakers

We've just published the schedule for the weekend at
http://hackfest.openaustralia.org/schedule<http://hackfest.openaustral.org/schedule>.
Doors will open at 10:30am each day and run through till 8pm.

Keynote speakers:

   - Alan Noble (Gov2.0 Taskforce member, and also Engineering Director for
Google's Australian office) will be speaking at 11am Saturday on the topic
of "Innovation through open access to Public Sector Information"
   - Matthew Landauer (OpenAustralia.org) will be talking at 11am Sunday

We also have directed hacking sessions covering setting up your own
OpenAustralia VM so you can start hacking (Matthew Landauer + Henare Degan);
creating a web mashup to put data on a map (Pamela Fox), and making things
mobile (Rob Manson).

At 5pm each day we'll have lightning talks - a chance for you to show off
what you're working on.

All these talks will take place in one of our larger rooms - but we'll have
a variety of smaller spaces available for free hacking sessions, BoF
sessions - or even your own spontaneous presentations.

Lunch (and afternoon tea) will be provided by Google, and there are plenty
of local pubs and restaurants to head to for dinner.

http://hackfest.openaustralia.org/schedule is correct - but if you clicked
on the link in my original email, it took you to
http://hackfest.openaustral.org/schedule<http://hackfest.openaustralia.org/schedule>,
which is not correct.

The schedule looks great! It seems like there's a bunch of time slots that
we can still accommodate speakers or sessions in so if you've got a talk
you'd like to present, or just a session to talk about a specific topic, let
everyone know and I'm sure we can find a place for it in the schedule.

Cheers,

Henare
