RAMpage Research
The publisher is at least at time of the first print run a pseudonym for the author.
Why RAMpage? This is the name of a research project I've been working on since the 1990s, aimed at moving main memory up a layer (so the lowest-level cache becomes the main memory, and the previous main memory becomes a paging device). Why an elephant? Elephants have good memories, as well as being known to go on the rampage.
Use of the RAMpage name is symbolic of a computer scientist going on to other things.
Why the green triangle?
In Australia, a green triangle forms the backdrop to the logo of the Greens party, symbolizing environmental concern as a theme of this book and possibly future books.
Should this venture be a success, there will be more books from the same publisher – possibly ultimately including other authors.
