Chris -- These seem to be the same people (more or less, some of the characters change over time, although the same general tone is maintained) who respond whenever Ed posts anything. These guys absolutely love to hate Edmond Wollman. They never seem to get tired of it. They've got web sites devoted to jeering at him. They read his work daily with the diligence not achieved by most professional editors. They appear relentlessly, swirling around every post Ed sends, making each one an event in itself, like a tornado or something.
