If you look in the Mobile Firefox folder you will see mobilefirefox.exe. Now
look for a file that is just firefox.exe. If you see firefox.exe that means
that file was created from the update and you will need to delete the
mobilefirefox.exe and replace it with firefox.exe.
Make sure the new firefox.exe is renamed to mobilefirefox.exe.

If you want to turn off automatic updates go to you address bar and type
about:config and then do a search for update.
Set app.update.auto to false and app.update.enabled to false. However
remember if you do this that you will need to manually check for updates. To
do this you would go to your application menu then 'Help' and 'Check for
Updates...'
