Subject: Gladiator "Cadet" series garage cabinets vs the real Gladiator
I just puchased a Gladiator cabinet at Sears, and also ordered 2 Tall
Gladiator cabinets.
They are made to be used with the "Geartrack" channels, or the
"Gearwall" panels.

Being that these cabinets are really expensive, I am buying a few
pieces at a time thoughout the next severatl months. (Welded Steel
series)

I have seen the Gladiator "Cadet" series on the northerntool website,
and they are way cheaper, however, I haven't found the cabinets in any
retail stores.

Has anyone seen or used the "Cadet" series? I would like to compare the
build quality in person.

I found out that "Gladiator Cadet" is licensing the "Gladiator" name
from Gladiator, and there is no other affiliation between the two
companies.

Also, Gladiator "welded steel" series has a lifetime guarantee,
compared to the 1 year warranty
on the "Gladiator Cadet series".

Yeah, Whirlpool makes the Gladiator series, which are easily the best made
cabinets I have found. Stack-On makes the Cadets. Looking at the base cabinets
which is what I am interested in, the Cadets aren't even in the same league as
the GearDrawer, etc.

The wall cabinets do appear to be quite similar.
