You can sprinkle borax on the rugs and sweep it in. That will kill
fleas without harming anybody. It works by absorbing moisture. Dries
out small bugs. 3-4 times a year will keep fleas away. It costs us
about $5 a year to do our house, and we don't have to put anything on
the cats or dogs.
