Hi Darlene, you have an "access denied" error.

Fixing it would depend much upon what OS you're using etc.

Would you please provide full details of your operating system including
service pack level etc. and any other relevant information.

TaurArian,

I'm having the same problem. Have had it for the past couple of months. I
called HP/Microsoft Techs and all that did was waste minutes on my cell
phone. Now my computer's bluetooth, sound, etc. is suffering. I am using
Vista, not sure what service pack. Some places say 1 others say 2, and I'm
not the smartest with a computer. If you know where to look for definite
information, then let me know and I'll get it to you. I would appreciate any
kind of info or help you can give me.

Chris

Click Start button, click Control Panel, click System and Maintenance and
finally click Welcome Center.
The edition of Windows Vista you are running is displayed with your computer
details near the top of the window.
This should tell you what version of Vista including SP level.

Then you'll need to describe in as much detail as possible what your problem
is.

The post you hijacked relates to an access denied error on an unknown system
and update/s.

Once you have obtained all the relevant information, post in the Windows
Update area here:
http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/categories
Always state your Windows Version etc as all categories of Windows Update
lead to the one area.
