Dial phone numbers from web page.

I would like to dial a phone number from a web page and when connected, get an indication back to my web page about the connection status so that I can take some action like display another page or display a form to accept some data from the caller, carry out the conversation using the headset connected to the PC with volumn controls in the web page etc.

I am not sure, if Lotus Notes client can direct use tapi lines.
Ositron has an addin with their CTI, that allows doing what you wished.

I have installed Lotus Notes Client 8.5. But I don't know how to configure
TAPI Service Provider in Lotus Notes.
I want to Make Calls from Lotus Notes contacts using my TSP.

samples that use TAPI 2 and wave functionality. They were written
using our TeleTools controls which combine TAPI and the wave API to
make programming a lot easier. Most people don't want to code TAPI

By the way, as we have two-way trusted relationship we can use user's account from another domain for TAPI line of TAPI server.
So user can transparently use this line without "runas"

we added this servers to WINS of each domain.
symptom was:
i could ping example1.domain1.ru from domain2
but could not ping example1
"tcmsetup /c example1.domain1.ru"
or "tcmsetup /c example1" gives nothing
