Subject: Outlook and HTTP-GET-Request
Hello,

I have a SNOM Phone which can dial numbers, when I do a HTTP-GET-Request
with the parameter ?number=123456789. Now I have Outlook and another
Programm which saves addresses and telephone numbers. I need a Dialer, TAPI
adapter, whatever to call numbers clicking on the outlook contact.

Please attent that Outlook was just a example because I don't know how the
xp-builtin programm are namend which outlook uses. There is an outlook
plugin by snom, but it does not work on these other programs.

I hope you understand what I am searching. If not I will try to explain
another way.

thank you.

Léon,
I'm not familiar with the SNOM Phone but
from what ypu say I guess you need a TSP (TAPI Service Provider = TAPI
driver) for this device.
This is a part of software that hgas to be installed under ControlPanel /
PhoneAndModemOptions / Advanced.
I suggest to ask the manufacturer of you devices whether he provides such a
TSP for it.

Hi Lean!

SNOM phones support REFER, thus you can use the SIPTAPI which can do the
same by using SIP instead of HTTP.

If you really want to use HTTP, it should be rather easy to delete the
SIP-related code from SIPTAPI and replace it with HTTP code (either use
a HTTP library like "curl" or use some native Windows functions)

regards
klaus
