if you have version conflicts like the project been developed in 2003 and if you try running in 2005 or earlier, surly the virtual dirctories which are automatically created by 2005 may not suitable for the 2003 so you install 2003 first, then move your source code from that location, it is better if you have a fresh copy, configure your web config and now manualy stop the iis and create a virtual dirctory ,if you use third party tools like ig_common and if it is necessary to allocate virtual directory for them too, do it. and now run your project . hope it most works

 Hi!
Is it possible to set up VS2008 for remote debugging like old good 6.0?
That means: i have an application running on the remote PC, i have my
project (sources) on the laptop, i press F5 and my application magically
starts on the remote PC and i can (!) set breakpoints and watch the
variables.

 Hi all,
I am trying to write a simple code in a *.js file. I'm on a pc that
has no dev environment, all I can think of is that I can atleast make
a *.js file and write code in it and double click to run it. But I
just started doing that and I wrote this simple code:
proc();
function proc()
{
alert('hey');
