I tried to install the October 2009 CU on a MOSS farm, on which I have
installed the SP2, and I always get an error message saying : The expected
version of the product was not found on the system.
Anybody has an idea?

All the timer jobs ran so both WFE's are up to date. It made no difference to
the issue though.

Hi, we had migrated a running WSS 2007 to a new web and sql server.
After that, we changed some names of AD groups and somes users email
adresses, but this are not reflected on our WSS!?
On the old installation we had sometime too changed groups and email
adresses and the changes was visible on WSS...

I am trying to do a Gradual Upgrade of SharePoint services 2 to SharePoint

Create SPUserToken and use like below:
string url = SPContext.Current.Site.Url;
SPUserToken token=SPContext.Current.Site.R ootWeb.EnsureUser(txtUserID.Te xt).UserToken;
SPSite site = new SPSite(url,token);
