Importing a site duplicates list items

When importing to a blank site, the import command: STSADM -o import -url <url> -filename <file.cab> -includeusersecurity works like a charm. The new site is identical to the old site and is functional. Long dropdowns in a lookup field

Here's the problem: If you have a lookup pointing to a really long list, it gets irritating for the users (or doesn't even return all the values). Has anyone found a different solution for lookups besides the OOB dropdown menus? Thanks for the help.

Hi , i am trying to perform a catastropic backup of a sharepoint site and the command goes like this stsadm.exe -o backup -directory \\TEST\TestBackup\ -backupmethod full, on running the same i get the below error..
