I created a site and add 100 users to it who do not have access to SharePoint except to this site. Only one user could not be added. Every time I add the user from AD I get an error " Can not add the user because a user with that name already exists" even though they are not in any of the groups. any idea?... more »

Is there an elegant way to view a list from a sub-site as part of the parent site in SP2003? For instance, a task list monitored within a sub-site viewed as part of a summary page within the parent site? Thanks

MOSS 2007 Ent, small farm, SQL 2005, windows 2003 sp2. CA, Web serevr have 8GB of ram, quad P4 hyper thread procs. This site is published via content deployment jobs; 7 GB takes 14 hours to deploy.
