Hi,
We are trying to understand the results we are receiving when we are
using MOSS Search. We would like to know the following:
1. Does index work on all the document content or only on the
metadata? to my understanding it works on all the document data. If
so:
2. Does the search work with an "AND" between all the search phrases?

list, it gets irritating for the users (or doesn't even return all the

I created a site and add 100 users to it who do not have access to
SharePoint except to this site. Only one user could not be added. Every time

Ok, I'm going to be honest here: I messed up... big time...
Here's the deal: last tuesday I wanted to upgrade my MOSS server to SP2 with
post SP2 updates. I created back-ups of both the front-end as well as the
databases. I installed SP2 and all was well, no problems there.

I create a new editform.aspx with a different name. When I load the page in
the browser, it re-directs to the default edit form for that list.
It will do this even when the edit forms have the same content.
