Subject: Returning only unique values in a Custom List Lookup
Hi all,

Here's my problem, I've got a custom list that's got a lookup pointing
to the Company Field in a Contacts list. It work fine except that it
returns a value for each contact (I.e. if I have to people from
microsoft in the contacts list, the dropdown will show Microsoft
twice). How do I filter it to only show each company once? If that's
even possible.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You can't. Not without development. There are improvements in this
area in Sharepoint 2010.
