I have a database in Access 2000 (using DAO & OS is Windows 2000) that has
been working fine for several months. The last time I used it was Dec 29, 2005. I just opened it this morning (jan 22, 2006) and am having major problems. When I try to open certain forms or reports, I get a run time error -: Run Time Error '429' ActiveX component can't create object. If I select debug, the debugger highlights VBA instructions for recordsets. Some examples are: set recClone = Me.RecordsetClone set db = Currentdb If Me.RecordsetClone.RecordCount = 0 Then Something seems to have happened to the Office installation since If I Also, I have updated the firmware on my DVD burner.
