Neither.
Tables store data... under the hood, unexposed to user view or interaction.
Queries arrange, select and sort data... under the hood, unexposed to user
view or interaction.
In a professional database, users will essentially NEVER see a table or query
datasheet; all interaction with data should be via a Form.

I am trying to create a report that will return a format for a time frame. My
program is for a landscaping business that needs to know who's lawn needs to

Hi Al,
Actually I added a new field called PRINTME next to the name of the
restaurant in the table format. In Design View of my table, the data type
is YES/NO. I attempted to put a check mark next to several restaurants and
it accepts the check mark.
I am a little confused by several suggestions you made.

But be advised that when I ran it in VB 6.0, with the DLLs in the

Excellent. OWC10 isn't required. But then what about the other
references also possibly not required? VBIDE, stdole, MSComDlg and
MSXML2. Remove those one at a time and compile. If the compile
fails then put the reference back and try the next one.
Also the code I supplied would've failed when it got to the OWC

Depending on how the users home directories and such are configured
you could use the free Auto FE Updater utility see

I have recently installed Microsoft Office 2008 onto my G5 Mac PPC running on
Leopard 10.5.8.
Every time I save a new document, Word also saves a folder with sub folders
in addition to the new file.
Is this additional folder necessary, and if so, why? or, how can I prevent
that default action.

In general, Access does consume some memory, but it quickly gives it up when
some other process requests it, so there should be no issue.
Is it just a case that you're not expecting to see activity, or are you
actually having a problem?
