Subject: How do I add color to my data entry
I want to show the updates by entering data in a different color, but when I
change the color it changes all the records.

Which version of Access?

Have you been using Conditional Formatting?

On the form control, use conditional formatting.
You will need to create some expression that evaluates to True or False in
order to flip the formatting on or off.
