Hi folks, it's me again with news that we're probably going to meet
somewhere else for bowling day from now on. It seems that the issues
with the noise and the video's are making it difficult for too many
people.
This isn't to say that bowling is off the cards, just that we're going
to meet somewhere else before hand.
Donna and I were talking about where we could meet, but we haven't
decided on a place yet. Places we thought of were Fitzroy Gardens (on
sunny days) and Federation Square. The obvious problem with this is
that they're some distance from Strike.
There are a couple of open questions here which need answers:
* Where should we meet?
* Where should we go after we meet?
* If we decide to meet and THEN decide where to go, is this likely to be
too unpredictable for people?
* Are people driving into the city happy to buy a ticket to travel
between the two places?
* Perhaps they'd be happy to drive some of us to the ultimate destination?
What do you guys think about these things?
Also, on an unrelated issue, next "bowling day" co-incides with "towel
day", on which Douglas Adams fans the world over wear a towel wherever
they go, and there are at least two of us in the group. Bring a towel
along and join in. :-)
John.
